Make Money Online Affiliate Marketing Let's Go Blogging

Make Money Online Affiliate Marketing Let's Go Blogging

Blogging is the new kid on the Block. It is free, effective and does not require hosting or a Domain ...and that is as about as cheap as it gets.

However, it does require (B A M) brains, action, and motivations

The bloggs that you are going to be reviewing are the curtesy of Google i.e. @ Blogspot.Com.

The following blog sites are brought to you curtesy of TrafficSwarm.com

Congratulations. It's going to be a great thing for you. So where do you start? Which Web 2.0 sites do you post your links on? Well there are thousands to choose from, but here's a quick list to get you started.

* Blogger (www.Blogger.com) Blogger is a blogging website. You can actually put up an entirely new blog here. The URL of your blog will be "yourblogname.blogger.com" rather than just Yourblogname.com. But that's okay -- it's free! And since Google owns this website, it's sure to help you generate traffic.

* Wordpress (www.Wordpress.com) There are TWO different Wordpress websites. Wordpress.org is where you can download the free Wordpress software to run a blog on your own website. But Wordpress.com is the place where they'll host your site for you. And like with Blogger.com, your site will be a subdomain on their main website (ie Yourblogname.wordpress.com). Wordpress is incredibly popular, and the links from your own blog back to your site (or your self-hosted blog) will work well for you.

* Squidooo (www.Squidoo.com). One thing you'll realize about most web 2.0 sites is that they've got silly names. Squidoo is near the top of the funny-name list. But Google values links from this site (started by brilliant author and marketer Seth Godin) and so putting up a "lens" here is a good idea. (A Lens is what Squidoo calls a page on a particular topic. * Weebly (www.Weebly.com) Weebly is another web 2.0 site which allows you to build your own site. Much like a blog, a weebly site is yours to build. They host your site at weebly.com (just like Blogger and Wordpress do) and you can write about almost anything there.

* Hubpages (www.Hubpages.com) Hubpages allows you to create a "hub" about your particular topic. Their sites are categorized and they'll automatically put ads on your site, which you can share the revenue from. But of course, your goal is to get a link back from Hubpages to your site, and that works just fine. Just be careful because if you've got more than one link out of your hub to another site, you'll be violating the Hubpages terms of use.

Make sure you've got substantial content on Hubpages before you link elsewhere.

* Youtube (www.Youtube.com). Google bought Youtube for a reason, and that reason is "content". Google figures that the more they can get people to watch video, the more ads they can show them.

And so, if you can get a video on Youtube, Google is likely to rank that page well. And that means that a link on that page back to your site is good, too.

* Google Video (www.Google.com/video) It goes without saying that Google will rank links on Google Video well. In fact, you can put links on almost any Google property (GoogleBase, Picasa, etc) and get a link back to your site.

* Someone else's blog. Yes, blogs are Web 2.0 sites. It's just that most of them are not very well known or popular. That said, it is possible to post comments on most blogs and get a link back for your trouble. It's true that most blog comments will be "No Follow" links (which means that Google doesn't follow them for SEO benefit). But it turns out that Google still follows them, and gives the links credit -- even though it may not be full credit.

I could go on. There are literally thousands of web 2.0 sites you can post to. Your job is to find a site that ranks well for similar keywords as yours. You'll find a number of these sites at the top of Google's rankings for lots of keywords.

If you'd like to see a list of almost all of them, go to www.Go2Web20.net and you'll see more than you ever thought existed. And what's great is that they are categorized by topic and type, too.

So enjoy. Your journey into Web 2.0 is going to help you tremendously. I hope you have fun with it. a href="http://clickserve.cc-dt.com/link/tplclick?lid=41000000028367956&pubid=21000000000270013"> 3% Off Using Code AFL3 120x90-red Blue Diamond Jewelry - Apples of Gold + Free Shipping, 45 Day Returns
